Indian company Notion Ink has designed new tablet pc running on android (Operating system provided by Google) platform. Notion ink is Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) based company and Rohan Shravan is a CEO of Notion Ink. Device can be used as an e-reader and it has been built on Nvidia Tegra’s system on a chip technology.

It has large 10.1 inch display screen and it will show at Consumer Electronic show in USA, in First quarter of 2010. Tablets is mainly designed for business purpose as well as Tech savvy part of Indian and global youth. Notion Ink working on application package like office for tablet pc. Notion Ink use latest technology to make android base tablet pc. Product name is not disclosed by Notion Ink yet and company has developed a software wrapper around it to support the Pixel Qi screen. Company choose android as a operating system because of gadget take benefit of application developed by open source. Company will release software development kit soon and expected cost of tablet is around 400$ USD or 20,000 Rs.
